I don't know about the title, but there is something about "GDP" with V7... Guitar Drum Playing?

About XG itself... (bemaniWIKI)

Many videos of GFDMXG have been out in NicoNico (and some have been mirrored to YouTube, search for the user 'marcusinhk')
On the other hand... and this is regarding to this community... when will we start to DTXify the songs?

I suppose every song has it's original notes now?
This makes me wonder if the DTX incident is involved to this, I mean it happened on the middle times of V6 when XG is being planned. Correct me If I'm wrong.
@Meow - No XG in HK yet? I thought HK was one of the countries that DM and GF machines are always released very early. (I wish I had went to the right side of HK where I can find a DM machine, I can't find one in Kowloon), OT: Is all the arcades there with DM Machines requires you to be 18+?

I... hope this isn't a sign of how most of the upcoming songs will get treated. GF had somewhat of an excuse for batty ass nonsense charting when there were three buttons, and while that didn't justify everything that they did, it was easier to swallow then. Looking at this chart makes me gag because, in typical fashion, they've taken a single riff and given it X number of variations in order to overdress it. Let's face it, if the song isn't interesting to play (not listen to, but actually play), then maybe you should've chosen a different song for your game or just charted it like it should've been. The whole change to XG was supposedly to give a better and more realistic feel to the games and they continue to do shit like this.

We should mail Konami a copy of RB2 and tell them to take out their study notepads. A game can still be fun and profitable when songs are charted more realistically. If the rest of XG's guitar fare is like this, I can't honestly say I'd want to spend time with it.
Avid Guitarfreaks player here. I'm not sure about you, but I play not only for the music I like but for the ridiculous difficulty. Before GF I played GH and because songs were boring and charted realistically (Same riff for 5 minutes) I stopped playing it. The guitar solos in GH/RB are all the same as well. Just a clusterfuck of single notes with MAYBE a hold somewhere. Rarely any chords. Picture Timepiece's GF chart, then picture what you think it'd be charted like in GH/RB. Terrible. Hell, even easy songs in GF are more fun than GH because if a song is slow they make up for it by giving it a ton of chords instead of single notes. In all honesty, if GF were to stop it's ridiculous charting that would mark the end of GF for me. Having explained what I think, what is your opinion on this?

I am not a big GF player, Chaotime, but I DEFINITLY agree with you on that. Totally right about the boring charts of GH. Yep, even the crappy begginer pop songs are more fun to play in Guitarfreaks. I hope the legacy of craziness will not end for GF with the addition of the two extra lanes...

Little off-topic thing I've noticed .... : Trumpet players must do very well in GF with all the 2 and 3 note chords ! ;)

Now , as for the Drums of DM , that's another story. It definitly takes DM to a next level with XG. At least the drums won't be ruined.

But there is one thing that makes me sick about XG. Do they really have to Guitar Hero/Rock Band ' ised their damn game? Why don't they stay like before. I'm talking about the whole graphic thing with the characters in the back playing the instruments, etc.

Noticed the growing similarity?

Won't they stop "pop'ising" everything?!

(Like other game developers "Call of Duty 'ing" every other first person shooters out there.) Jees.

Felt like whining , sorry.
