That doesn't explain why there is a Japan-wide sweep of DTX simfile sites that do not contains GFDM songs at all. Wouldn't Konami be actually stealing DTXMania's concept in this case?

Just heard about this not too long ago and I can't believe it. It's exactly what I've said the series needed down to the last detail, bwahahahaha! The only thing I don't like is the GUI.

Did it ever occur to anyone that maybe DTXMania lived on for so long because it was essentially both free development, QA, and beta-testing for Konami? They could just pull the plug whenever development got to a point that they saw fit.
