Even though the number of lanes have become the same(?), is this a reason for the loss of compatibility issues with DTXMania?
For the time being, let's just watch on.

Actually, I dun really get what he is trying to say either. :-P

Great, now more GH/RB fanboys will accuse GF for copying GH/RB =___=

They need dream theater now that they have double pedal D:

Why would they do that? At least DTXmania is a kind-of correct dm simulation now. HAHAHA.
I'll wait to see how it will be, but I hope they don't spam the floor tom, the position seems to be bad for fast roll transitions

What's the color of the floor tom? Orange? Didn't want to copy that, huh.
What's with the ratings, 6.95 Vampire Killer, looks like in a supermarket.
It looks like the BD lane is now in between hi- and lo-tom? WHAT? That's confusing as hell if that's true...

And with GF, I wonder if they added something else than just 2 extra buttons. Please no hammer-on spamming like Guitar Hero, THAT WOULD MAKE ME VERY ANGRY.

Arrrrr don't want to think about it with so little information. Good bye.

Oh CLai. I didn't know you were registered here, always wanted to tell you your DTX are awesome! Got them all.

Here's a video from the location test, currently held at only one outlet in the whole of Japan.

From the playing screen layout, there are actually two bass lanes. Unfortunately, they weren't playing any songs with double bass...
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
From Voiddd.com

Changes to the GF Cabinet:
5 neck buttons
3 different kinds of wailing patterns: up, down and horizontal
2 large speaker units on both the left and right of the cabinet

Changes to the DM Cabinet:
Double bass pedals
Floor tom, left cymbal added

:o

Drummania on the PS3?! (I swear, if CURRENT DTX-es do not work on it....)

Man... I wonder what the wait time for this gem to appear in the good ol' United States.

Good thing I'm going to Japan within 5 years.

It was quite clear from the video that there were two separate bass lanes. It's only about how are they going to work out the tablatures. The double basses from the above songs might still be only on the right bass lane... lol

Some songs which originally had double bass elements might get a rework of tablature altogther (Leaving All Behind, Almost Easy).

I think it's almost going to be certain that they won't be carrying over the e-amusement records (full combo records, score records, collected titles...etc) from the player's card over to the new mix, seeing now that almost everything has changed. This might not go well for many people...

Yeah as awesome as it is, I already see a problem here in our home turf
(regarding "when the hell will we get it after is release?")

Coz' for some odd reason the regulars(including me but I have my reason) who frequent the only V6 we have have been playing seriously less..... It might cause the people from timezone to think that DM\GF's value suddenly drop. Let's hope they don't eh :D

dang.... Since its a loc-test I hope they change that to a single bass lane on the final release :( .

hell yeah! about time!! :D . I was getting tired of hearing double ped sounds while only playing on a single. And I hope they make full versions of these songs. I wouldn't mind being able to play only 2 songs if they are full versions..... specially' if they suddenly add Dream theater and the like on the list. (woo!! first 7+minute songs EVER for everyone  )

Time for the tatsujins to revert to advance mode
Doesn't matter in this country coz' we don't even have e-amuse in the first place.

Some things on my mind:
-Will all the songs be transferred on this new mix or would they decide not to release everything all at once?
-Is there a dark mode?
-I wonder how the new difficulty rating works?
-Will they make offline cards this time(a question ever since I've heard of e-amuse)?
-I wonder if they're planning to keep the interface like that in the final release?
-Why is the song select interface the same one as PIU??????
-Why not add 3 buttons on the guitar instead of 2???? (lol?)

Last but not the "least"
- If they EVER put the least 100 seconds I wonder what the hell the chart would look like
